CNSL 5361 - Internship in Counseling

3 hrs

Practical experience in a mental health setting as an intern; student provides a broad array of counseling services under the supervision of a licensed practitioner as accepted by the state board of counselors; additional individual and group supervision, as well as didactic information about counseling in a mental health setting. In addition to class sessions, students will have a minimum of 100 (150 in Arizona) supervised field experience hours, with a minimum of 35 (70 in Arizona) direct hours. Note: May be repeated once for additional credit. Prerequisite(s): CNSL 5360
