EDSP 2304 - Introduction to Special Education

3 hrs

Course consists of: developmental stages and characteristics of students with disabilities; historical, legal, and ethical foundations for special education, vocabulary, terminology, and acronyms for special education and TEA required trainings consisting of Dyslexia training, Substance Abuse training, Mental Health Training and Suicide Prevention Training must each be completed and passed in order to pass this course. Field experience: 6 hours Course Fee: $150 (required to access an Integrated Platform for work with edTPA)
