ENGL 0301 - Writing and Reading I

Provides foundational reading and college writing skills; increases vocabulary, comprehension, and writing mechanics. Required for students whose score on approved assessment test is below the minimum entry in ENGL 1301. A ”C” or better, with the Accuplacer score incorporated into the course grade, is required to advance to either ENGL 0302 or ENGL 1301. 3-hours lecture and 1-hour lab each week. This course does not count as credit toward a degree, but does count as additional GPA hours on the transcript.
