EDSP 5304 - Survey of Exceptionalities

Course consists of: In depth study of the 13 exceptionalities recognized by federal law. Research into the stages, characteristics, and needs of children and youth with disabilities. Research of terminology and acronyms associated with special education and study of transitional and family services as they apply to students with special needs. Field experience: 6 hours.
