Leaders and managers at the mid to upper level encounter ethical issues with greater complexity due to their position within the organization. Ethical issues and subsequent decisions to resolve vexing moral problems is considered a dynamic and interrelated process; not a simple linear progression. Knowledge that positional location within an organization necessitates a comprehensive assessment of how ethical issues intersect and overlap. Research relative to cognitive and emotional competence to identify and handle increasingly complex ethical issues. Field experience: 6 hours
