A study of the origin, evolution and interpretation of sedimentary rocks using microscopic to field characteristics; understand sedimentary processes and interpretation of depositional environments; understanding of stratigraphic principles and will be exposed to various stratigraphic interpretations such as: sequence stratigraphy, biostratigraphy, magneto-stratigraphy, and seismic-stratigraphy.
