NURS 3425 - Pediatric Nursing

Introduces the student to care of the well child, the child with special needs and the child with acute and chronic health care needs. Strong emphasis on maintaining dignity of the child and promoting healthy growth and development, even during illness. The child’s family’s needs will be examined. Prerequisite(s): NURS 3622, NURS 3421, NURS 3424, NURS 3430 Three lecture hours eight clinical hours.
