PUAD 5325 - Leadership and Communication

Promotes leadership development through the study of leadership theory and encourages the practical application of leadership at all levels. Develops effective, integrated communication by examining relevant theories and applications unique to public administration and the criminal justice field. Topics include the analysis of various approaches to leadership, servant leadership, situational leadership, transformational leadership, principle-centered leadership, bias, intercultural communication, handling difficult people and group decision making.
