CHEM 1401 - General Chemistry I

Foundational concepts of chemistry are studied, including introductory quantum mechanics, stoichiometry, chemical bonding, and chemical reactions. Laboratory provides exposure to a wide variety of experimental techniques. Prerequisite(s): High school chemistry or CHEM 1400, MATH 1304 or concurrent enrollment in MATH 1304, or school approval.
