PHYS 1400 - Conceptual Physics

A general one-semester course for non-science majors or those seeking to be elementary teachers. Emphasizes fundamental ideas of physics: metric system, forces and motion, simple machines, matter, waves and sound, heat, electricity, magnetism, and light. Includes development of hands-on activities exploring these concepts. Prerequisite(s): MATH 1303 or MATH 1304 Lecture three hours, laboratory three hours. Course Fee: $90.00
