MUSI 3313 - Digital Scoring and Sound Design

Principles of digital music composition including scoring, editing, and production as related to film, television, video games, advertising, and other visual media. Prerequisite(s): MUSI 2412; MUSI 3302; and PIAN 1102 or demonstrated proficiency on a musical instrument or voice. One semester of MUSI 3132 or MUSI 3111 preferred. With instructor permission, prerequisites may be waived for students demonstrating musical aptitude and basic knowledge of melody, harmony, meter, and rhythm.
