GEOL 3404 - Environmental Geology

Relationships between Earth’s natural environments and human populations are evaluated; volcanic and earthquake hazards, soil, groundwater, and atmospheric contamination, and special problems associated with radioactive and hazardous waste disposal. Note: GEOL 1301, 1304, 3302, 3304, 3305, 3309 and 4307 may be taught at external campuses as three-hour courses without labs and without lab fees. Prerequisite(s): GEOL 1401  or consent of instructor. Lecture three hours, laboratory three hours. Course Fee: $45.00
