GEOL 3408 - Geographic Information Systems 4 hrs
An examination of the principles and techniques of spatial data collection, handling, and analysis. Labs include application of geographic information systems technology in geology, environmental science, health science, business and other areas through case studies and hands-on use of microcomputer-based GIS software. Prerequisite(s): MSCI 2311 or consent of instructor. Lecture three hours, laboratory three hours. Course Fee: $90.00
