Review course of music theory and orchestration, history, performance techniques, teaching methodologies, and listening skills required for students preparing to take the content TEXES music examination leading to the Texas Educator Certification in All-level Music. Prerequisite(s): MUSI 2402, MUSI 3202, MUSI 3212 or MUSI 3213, MUSI 3304, MUSI 3305, MUSI 3310, MUSI 4301, MUSI 4302, MUSI 4321 or MUSI 4323; it is expected that in a four year sequence, this course will be taken in the 7th semester (the semester prior to student teaching); Corequisite(s): in this sequence, the student will be concurrently enrolled in the following: MUSI 4216 and either MUSI 4342 or MUSI 4323; exceptions must be approved by the instructor.
