Music Minor

Required Courses

The minor requires 19 semester hours with *3 hours included in the general education core. 13 hours lower level and 6 hours upper level.

School of Music recommends MUSI 3203  Conducting for any student pursuing a Music Minor in combination with an education degree.

• MUSI 0001 - Recital Hour 0 hrs (2 semesters)
• MUSI 1301 - Fundamentals of Music 3 hrs
• MUSI 1303 - Music Appreciation 3 hrs *

• PIAN 1101 - Class Piano I 1 hrs
• PIAN 1102 - Class Piano II 1 hrs
