Requirements for Religion Majors


Course Requirements


The major requires a minimum of 36 semester hours of School courses, with a core of 30 semester hours. The religion major core includes courses that are basic for all students in ministry. *Six hours are counted as part of the university general education core curriculum. The religion major core includes the following courses:

RLED 4361 Supervised Ministry  (only required for BGCT Ministerial Financial Assistance)*

RLGN 0001 Theological Research and Writing Lab : this course must be taken either as a co-requisite with the first upper-level (advanced) RLGN/RLED/PHIL course which requires a research paper or if required by the instructor of an upper-level RLGN/RLED/PHIL course.
