Human Services, B.A.S.

Course Requirements

Students majoring in Human Services for a B.A.S. degree must complete 36 semester hours, of which 18 must be upper-level credit. This major is available to B.A.S. and A.A.S. degrees only. A specialization in justice administration is not available for this major.

• PSYC 4310 - Social Psychology 3 hrs and
• SOCI 4310 - Social Psychology 3 hrs

• SOCI 3320 - Cultural Diversity 3 hrs
• SOCI 3322 - Introduction to Social Work 3 hrs
• Three hours of Ethics
• Eighteen hours of approved courses from justice administration, psychology, sociology, or related courses
