Graphic Design, Minor

Course Requirements

Students pursuing the B.A. or B.S. degree may complete a minor in graphic design. Requirements for the minor in graphic design include 18 credit hours, of which two courses must be upper-level courses. Courses required for this minor include:

• ART 1302 - Drawing I 3 hrs -OR- ARTD 2303 - 2D Design  3 hrs
• ART 2331 - Digital Photography 3 hrs -OR- ARTD 2307 - Printmaking  3 hrs
• Art History Component (  ART 2308 - Art History Survey I 3 hrs - OR - ART 2309 - Art History Survey II  3 hrs - OR -  ARTD 3331 - Graphic Design History  3 hrs)
• ARTD 2330 - Introduction to Digital Design 3 hrs
• ARTD 3330 - Typography 3 hrs
• ARTD 3332 - Visual Identity and Branding 3 hrs
