Multimedia Production and Broadcasting, Minor

Course Requirements

Students pursuing the B.A. or B.S. degree may complete a minor in media communication specialist. Requirements for the minor include 18 credit hours, of which 9 must be in upper-level courses. Courses required for this minor include:

• FNAR 1300 - 21st Century Media Arts 3 hrs
• MCOM 2313 - Writing and Editing for Media 3 hrs
• MCOM 2300 - Digital Production I 3 hrs
• MCOM 3300 - Digital Production II 3 hrs
• MCOM 3320 - Lighting for Media 3 hrs
• MCOM 4326 - Media Management 3 hrs
