American Sign Language, Minor

Course Requirements

The minor requires 20 credit hours, of which six hours must be upper-level. *Six hours may be included in the general education core curriculum for the B.A. degree.

• ASL 1401 - Beginning American Sign Language I 4 hrs
• ASL 1402 - Beginning American Sign Language II 4 hrs
• ASL 2301 - Intermediate American Sign Language I 3 hrs *
• ASL 2302 - Intermediate American Sign Language II 3 hrs *
• ASL 3316 - Special Topics in ASL 3 hrs (To be repeated one time when topic varies for 6 hours of credit)
