The Undergraduate Certificate in Information Systems is designed to provide students with the skills and knowledge used to maintain and repair personal computers. This includes knowledge for installing and maintaining a client operating system installed on a personal computer; provide a Broad, vendor-independent overview; of networking concepts; and provide the skills needed to acquire the security knowledge of an individual with two years on-the-job networking experience, with emphasis on industry wide topics including communication security, infrastructure security, cryptography, access control, authentication, and operational security.
