The Undergraduate Certificate in Server Systems covers foundational network security, servers, ethical hacking techniques to identify and exploit network vulnerabilities, emphasizing penetration testing, reconnaissance, vulnerability scanning, and post-exploitation within legal and ethical boundaries using practical labs to prepare students to enhance security in organizational infrastructures. Incident Response and Forensics creates strategies for responding to cybersecurity incidents, identification, containment, eradication, and recovery. The course covers digital forensics, evidence collection, and legal considerations, preparing students for forensic investigations and managing security incidents. Defending against cyber threats by analyzing vulnerabilities and implementing defense strategies, including threat modeling, risk management, and security controls helps mitigate evolving threats with Server systems tools.
