GEOL 3409 - Regional Geology

Course introduces students to the unique geological aspects of the region in which it is taught. It includes discussion of the present day land forms, including their origins using a plate tectonic theme, rock types and structures, resources and other geologic phenomenon unique to that region. Note: GEOL 1301, 1304, 3302, 3304, 3305, 3309 and 4307 may be taught at external campuses as three-hour courses without labs and without lab fees.
