Academic Catalog 2019-2020

Mission of the University System

Wayland Baptist University exists to educate students in an academically challenging, learning-focused and distinctively Christian environment for professional success and service to God and humankind.

Access to 2013-2014 and Earlier Academic Catalogs:

Catalogs from 2013-2014 and earlier are available through College Source.
The CollegeSource catalogs are protected by Adobe’s LiveCycle Digital Rights Management software.  In order to view the PDF files, the end user is required to use Adobe Reader 7.0 or better.

In the case of Google Chrome:
There is a built-in PDF viewer that is enabled by default that needs to be disabled so that the Adobe plug-in can be enabled.  To do this, open a tab in Chrome and type “about: plugins” into the address bar, find the “Chrome PDF Viewer,” and click “Disable.”  If Adobe Reader is already installed, Adobe Reader or Adobe Acrobat (depending on what you have installed) will appear as a plug-in to enable.

In the case of Safari:
It also may be that the user does not have Adobe Reader installed as a helper app/plug-in or is using another 3rd party PDF reader.

Finally with other browsers:
There are a multitude of possibilities for ill configured browsers with non-Adobe Reader products installed.  It is impossible to go into all the possible fixes other than making sure that Adobe products are configured to be the default PDF viewers.
