Introduction to theories and methods of cultural anthropology and sociology that can inform ministry strategies and practices; special focus on enabling ministers to exegete and critically analyze the socio-cultural context of their congregations and communities in order to faithfully communicate the biblical message and Christian beliefs and practices in culturally appropriate yet prophetically relevant ways. Prerequisite(s): RLGN 1301 and RLGN 1302
