ENGL 0301 - Writing and Reading I

Provides foundational reading and college writing skills; increases vocabulary, comprehension, and writing mechanics. Required for students whose score on approved assessment test is below the minimum entry in ENGL 1301. Students who receive a “C” or higher in the course will be allowed to take the assessment exam again to see if they qualify for ENGL 1301. 3-hours lecture and 1-hour lab each week. This course does not count as credit toward a degree, but does count as additional GPA hours on the transcript.
