NURS 3515 - Fundamentals of Nursing 5 hrs
Introduction of fundamental concepts basic to Nursing. Strong emphasis on the acquisition of theory and skills necessary for practicing nursing. Students learn Standards of Practice and Ethical and Legal principles related to patient care and professional practice. Previous knowledge from all previous courses, lectures, and clinical labs and skills will be tested in all subsequent studies, including this one. The main goal is to emphasize all nursing practices and ensure that patient safety has always been our epicenter. Prerequisite(s): Admission to BSN program Corequisite(s): NURS 3311 [4 lecture hours / 4 lab hours / 12 clinical hours] Course Fee: Nursing Program Fee - $525; Skills Lab Fee - $200
