The Undergraduate Certificate in Information Systems Security and Project Management is designed to provide students with the skills needed with the techniques of planning, organizing, and managing complex information systems development projects, including studies of resources and tools available for scheduling, tracking, and measuring system development productivity. Students will study best practices of project management, universal project principles, conflict resolution, negotiation, communication, team building, leadership and setting and managing expectations. This certificate will provide students with essential skills to manage the Information Security Portfolio such as key security concepts, including access control, cryptography, information security governance, operations security and business continuity.
