Course Requirements

The minor requires 20 hours, of which 12 hours are upper level. (GEOL 2401 Mineralogy  may be counted as 4 of the 12 hours of 3000 level) *MATH 1306 Elementary Statistics  is a requirement for all math and science minors. It may be used to fulfill the additional requirement in the general education core of the BS degree.

• GEOL 1401 - Physical Geology 4 hrs
• GEOL 1402 - Historical Geology 4 hrs
• Twelve hours of 3000 level or above in GEOL
