Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership
The Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership consists of 39 semester hours of coursework in the areas of leadership and management theory, organizational behavior and theory, organizational law and policy, and research design. The core area will provide 27 semester hours of coursework with an additional 12 semester hours of coursework chosen from the following specializations: Health Care Administration, Human Resources, or Organizational Leadership.
Graduates will be able to perform research into complex problems in the fields of leadership, management, organizational behavior and theory, along with specialized education in human resource management or health care administration that will lead to new theory and tactics for practitioners in whichever specialization the student selects. Graduates will also learn about current issues in leadership so they can achieve and maintain expertise in their selected fields, as well as be able to evaluate the quality and applicability of published research in their respective areas of study.
